Rothschild are just the Banking staff for the Black Nobility. Yes they are in the forefront of everything that seems to happen. There ARE more powerful families, the Rothschilds aren't the most powerful banking family; the Montegue Barons are, they are founders of the Bank of England in the City of London.
The criminal Empire is very carefully constructed so as to hide in plain sight. If you think of an onion skin, the Black Nobility are in the center. Rothschilds are located further out from center, but their job is to be the Public Patsy.
